Not just a CPA…
I’ve felt uncomfortable introducing myself as an accountant and owning this title since I obtained the CMA designation in 2012; there’s so much more to my personality than the stereotype conjures. From December 2019 on, I have enjoyed a break from professional employment as I sought clarity around my next career move. I have since recognized that I truly love two things: 1. business: operations, development and strategy, and 2. financial education: for individuals and entrepreneurs & small business owners. My skills and passions go beyond my competency as a CPA, CMA and my goal is to offer a variety of support to any business that needs a fresh and honest perspective.

Understanding the business and developing strong relationships with business partners is key to explaining variances in financial performance.

From bookkeeping to preparing financial statements to completing personal and business tax returns, I was exposed to a variety of different companies.

Employment with global companies like LUSH and lululemon fostered my understanding of retail business operations. The experiences with these brands can be translated and applied to any organization.
